Drum and bass is nice. So are lofi sounds. I wanted to try my hand at writing a song that was a little more standard, and it turned out better than I expected! This is probably my first completed song with vocals and original lyrics, so it holds a special place in my heart.

I love fugues, and I decided to try my hand at writing a fugue with 12-tone constraints. In the post, I'll explain the framework I used as well as details about my aesthetic sensibilities and the efforts I took to preserve those when tangling with tone rows.

Years ago (*shudders at writing that*), there was a thing called Twitch Plays Pokémon. It inspired me to create a Twitch bot that creates music based on chat interactions. This post has some details about that project.

I like making music and I have been low-key obsessed with the Enochian language for a while. I normally have a hard time coming up with lyrics for songs, so I thought to myself, why not use Enochian passages I wrote for a ritual in lieu of writing something normal? And here we are—a whole, great project.
