Enochiana Research: a directory

I've decided to divide things up in a few categories. I know I have friends and family members who don't understand and don't care to understand things at a deeply technical level. I also have colleagues who are interested in the occult aspect, the computational aspect, the linguistic aspect, or all of them.

The plan

I want to do a "Plain Speak" section, which is for all the folks who don't know anything about any of this and just want to have enough understanding. I'll explain who John Dee and Edward Kelly are, link appropriate articles/sites, etc. I'll also explain a little bit about LLMs and what all I'm aiming for at a really, really high level. The goal of these entries is to get everyone caught up to speed.

I'll keep the Enochiana and AI articles separated because some people who might read this might only need help with one of the two.

After you have the basics down, there are two directions you can go:

  • Exegesis on the Enochian Keys
  • Enochian Language Modeling

Besides that, just to keep all of my more scholarly (or at least quasi-scholarly...-ish) work in one place, I also plan to include articles where I've done a sort of literary analysis on the Enochian Keys (besides having their own section, there will be a plain-speak article about them). Any scholarly musings that are less technical from a programming perspective will find inclusion in the #exegesis category.

A final note: anything in with a #lab tag will not approach anything from an occult perspective in a "but how do I talk to angels??" kind of way. While I have certainly have opinions on that, I am checking those at the door—the point of any entries is to engage the Enochian material on its own terms without any sort of unverified personal gnosis or similar insights derived from spiritual experiences.

And, finally, the reason for this #lab section of my site! 🎉 I will readily admit that this section is a bit more scattered than the rest because it is, and will be, expanding on and on as I continue working on this project.

As with the exegesis section, I have a lot that I've done, I just need to write it all out—again, in my copious free-time. 🙄

Of course I need an "other" category! Right now, nothing lives here, but someday soon—maybe and hopefully—there might possibly be an interesting set of entries about Liber Loagaeth and some interesting connections I've made. I have quite a bit of work ahead of me, but my hunch about a thing has yielded convincing support when I teased it out. That's all I'll say about that for now. /vaguebooking
